1.A candidate of the H.S. programme of the council shall have to offer subjects as specified hereunder:
i) English - 200 Marks (100 Marks in the H.S. First Year. And 100 marks in the H.S. Final Exam.)
ii) Modern Indian Language-200 Marks in the H.S.First Year Exam. And 100,marks in the H.S. Final Exam.)
Note : A student may offer Alternative English in lieu of the M.I.L.*

i)Three elective subjects from a stream listed below: each subject of 200 marks (100 marks in the H.S. First Year Examination and 100 marks in the H.S. Final Year Exam.
ii)In addition to the three elective subjects a candidate may have the option to offer a fourth elective subject of 200 marks belonging to the same stream (100 marks in the H.S. First Year Examination and 100 marks in the H.S. Final Examination.)
iii)List of Elective Subject (Science Stream)
1.Chemistry 2. Physics. 3. Mathematics. 4. Biology. 5. Economics.
List of Elective subjects (Arts Stream): (Students will be admitted in 2 groups ‘A’ and ‘B’ .Each group will consist 200 students.

THREE YEARS DEGREE COURSE (Arts)
This is a Three Years programme (six semester) leading to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). A student is required to take two compulsory subjects in semester I & II and two compulsory subjects in semester III & IV . Along with the compulsory subject in subjects a students is required to take two elective subject (any one group from the given below). The College offers the following subject :-
Semester I & II Semester III & IV
1.English 1. Either Alternative English or MIL (Assamese / Bengali / Hindi / Manipuri)
2. Either Alternative English or MIL
(Assamese/ Bengali / Hindi / Manipuri) 2. Environmental Studies
*Second Language - Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Manipuri
A student can offer any one of the following subject as major :-
English, Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, History, political Science, Education and Economics.
*Students offering Major in vernacular subject/English can not opt for the same subject/ Alternative English as MIL.
THREE YEAR DEGREE COURSE (Science)
This is a Three Years programme (six semester) leading to Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.). A student is required to take English as compulsory subject in semester I, along with three elective subject. One of the elective subject may be choosen as a subject for Major. The college offers the following subject combination groups :-
A.Physics, chemistry, Mathematics B. Physics, chemistry, Mathematics
C.Economics, Statistics, Mathematics D. Chemistry, Botany, Zoology.
Restriction of subject combinations.
The following cnations can not be opted by a student :
i)A students shall be allowed to take Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Zoology and Botany only when they have passed corresponding subject in H.S. or its equivalent Exam.Those who passed biology in H.S. Exam. May offer botany or Zoology or both.
ii)Student offering Maths/Statistics/Physics shall not be allowed to take Botany/ Zoology.
iii)Economics is not allowed with any other subject of Science Stream except Statistics and Maths.
THREE YEAR DEGREE COURSE (COMMERCE)
