LIBRARY :
The Central Library of the maintains a well-stock of text and reference books numbering approximately27, 100. The library subscribes a large number of Dailies, Weeklies, Journals and Periodicals. Along with all other sections like -acquisition, circulation, reference, internet the library runs a reprographic section to help the users of the library. Though the teachers, students and administrative staff of the college are entitled to become a member of the library, the research scholars may use the library on special permission from the principal of the college. The students having major are entitled to borrow 3(three) books at a time while the other members are restricted to 2 (two) books at a time. Reference books are issued for a limited period fixed by the Librarian. Students are to be in their uniform and required to carry their identity cards to use the library. Members of the library can take the advantage of using e-journals and e-books under the N-list programme of U.G.C.-INFONET Consortium for which they needed to provide their e-mail ID to the Librarian.

Facilities and Services to readers:
Student, teachers and administrative staff of the college are entitled to enroll themselves as the member of the library.
Student members are given as many reader's card as the volumes of books he/she is entitled to borrow at one time.
The scale is given below:-
H.S- 2 books
T.D.C (General)- 2 books
T.D.C (Major)- 3 books
There are separate reading spaces for student and teachers.
Question Bank facility for students and teachers.
Reference services.
Internet Browsing.
The users of the library can take the advantage of reprography.
The library is registered with the N-LIST programme of INFLIBNET centre to access e - books & e-journals through the UGC- INFONET Digital Library Consortium.
Research scholars/ person with educational interest can use the library only for reading purposes on special permission either from the Principal or the Librarian.

Library Hours:
The Library remains open on all days except holidays or decided otherwise by the principal of the college from 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Issue counter is open up to 3.00 p.m.

Rules and Regualations:
No person, other than a member, shall be allowed into the library. Non members shall only be allowed by special permit to be issued by the librarian/Principal.
Every member must produce his/her identity card issued by the college authority at the time of any library correspondence.
Personal belongings like umbrellas, boxes, personal books, bags and such other items are not allowed to be taken inside the library. However, valuables like money purse, mobile etc. should be kept with own self. Mobiles must be kept either switched off or in silent mode.
Student members are not allowed to enter the college library without uniform.
All the books on loan shall be returned on due date. Books on special demand may be lent for a shorter period as decided by the librarian.
A book is issued for fifteen days to student members; however, he/she can reissue the same for another 15 days. An overdue charge of 50 paisa per volume per day shall be charged if a book is kept beyond the prescribed period. However, an overdue charge for the books on special demand/reference book shall be Rs. 10.00 per volume per day.
Members who repeatedly fail to return the books on due date will lose the privilege of membership of the library.
If any person damages or disfigures books or any other property of the library, he/she shall have to replace such properties or books damaged or make payment for the value there of.
Reader's cards issued are not transferable.
A member who loses his/her reader's card shall report to the librarian in writing. A lost card will be replaced only after fifteen days of reporting on payment of Rs. 50.00 per card only.
A member who loses his/her reader's card shall be solely responsible for the misuse of his/her lost card by any one unless reported in time.
Any violation of rules, misbehavior on the part of any member inside the library will attract penal provisions which may include cancellation of library cards even.
It is solely the decision of the librarian to refuse admission to any members in the library or to allow any member to use books under special circumstances without assigning any reason there of.
The decision of the librarian in all matters relating to library affairs shall be binding upon all members.

Organized Book Fair in collaboration with ‘Satirtha Gyanyatra' from 4th to 7th October, 2007
Organized Book Fair in collaboration with ‘Anwesha' from 19th to 21st September, 2008.
Organized internal Quiz Competition for students in collaboration with Department of Assamese, Hojai College on 20th September, 2008.
Organized ‘Choose Your Right Career', a Career Guidance Workshop for Under graduate and post-graduate aspiring students in collaboration with NSHM and BMASDO (NGO) on 1st July, 2013.
